Leave the tutorial with a Celestial katana, a real class, and a reason to stop rerunning Bandit's Den.
Your first hour in Dungeon Lootr is a funnel. ClickBytes drops you into a Ronin tutorial, points a glowing beam at a chest, and then opens a lobby full of shops, a Forge, and a Classes hall that will happily give you another Rare. If you follow the default path without reading, you will hit Goblin’s Stronghold still holding Bowman. This page is the order that actually works.

The tutorial dungeon
The intro kit is Ronin. The four starter skills are Ichimonji, Setting Horizon, Swallow Cut, and Falling Blossom. Basic attacks fill the combo counter — the hero screenshot on this wiki is a 169-hit chain into Bandit Chief, The Forest Warden. You do not need that combo. You need to not stand in telegraphs and to drink from cauldrons before the next zone.
After a zone clears, a glowing beam marks the loot chest. Follow it. Early chests pay Gold Ore, Iron Ore, and Coins. The boss lets you pick two reward chests. Wolf Ring and Copper Ring are common first jewellery. Equip whatever raises Gear Score, then extract. Dying with a full bag is how new players donate a night of ore to the void.
Lives, enemy count, and the run timer sit on the HUD. The how to play page explains parry and Blessings. During the tutorial, just keep a potion in slot 5 and do not skip the Guide NPC when the SKIP ALL prompt appears — step five of that dialog is there for a reason.
Starter Compensation
Open Inventory → All. Starter Compensation sits there as a claimable bundle. Opening it grants Coins, spins, keys, and a Celestial weapon, the Tidemaker Katana. Equip the katana. It outclasses the tutorial blade and it is the first item worth feeding to the Forge later.
If you cannot see the bundle, you are filtering Inventory to gear only. Switch to All. Code bundles use the same tab.
First spin that is not a trap
Walk to the Classes building — the hall shown on the tier list. Open the spin UI. Normal Spin odds after the global build:

Ronin, Flame Bastion, Greatsword, Assassin, and Bowman are the D-tier pile that eats that 50% Rare band. They will finish Bandit’s Den. They will not finish Nightmare Underworld Gate. Keep spinning until you see Boxer (Epic, actually A tier), Witch Gunner (Legendary, A tier), or Azure Devil (Celestial, A tier and the only evolution into S-tier Awakened Devil EX).
Save Luck Potion III from codes for a Lucky Spin. Celestial jumps to 3% there. Do not drink it to clear a story dungeon faster. The spin-odds tool is the short version of this table.
Founder is A tier and only comes from the Grand Sovereign Pack at 7,500 Robux. Skip it on day one. The unlock routes page lists every non-shop God and S class so you do not buy a pack thinking it is required.
First lobby loop
- Claim Starter Compensation.
- Redeem codes.
- Talk to the Guide NPC if any system still looks like noise.
- Spin until you leave D tier.
- Buy nothing from the Merchant except a plate that clearly beats your drop. Hollow Knight’s Plate at 4K Coins is a sample listing, not a must-buy.
- Run Bandit’s Den once more on the new class.
- Forge the Wolf Ring if the materials are sitting there.
- Stop. Open the dungeon order and go to Goblin’s Stronghold.
Daily quests will ask you to clear dungeons as Ronin. Do them for the claim, then swap back. Premium Plus adds +5% Player EXP and +10% Class EXP if you already subscribe on Roblox. It is not required to reach level 100.
What “extract” means on day one
A run is not finished when the boss dies. You still have to leave with the bag. If you are low on lives, take the extract. Keys (four tiers; Gold Key opens gated gold chests with Infernal Ore) are why you peek behind locked gates, not why you greed a third bonus room on one heart.
When Bandit’s Den feels automatic, you are ready for Hard on the next map and for the Boss Rush unlock conversation. You are not ready to craft Unrestricted. That chain starts at Honored One level 25 and player level 75 — see god-tier classes.
Play with friends in the 15-player lobby if you want hangout and emotes. For learning mechanics, a quiet server is faster. Either way, the account only moves when the class in the hotbar is better than Ronin.
