Dungeon Lootr Open beta, and what to ignore now
The months when the game had 35 players, a first trailer, and a codes list that is mostly dead.
Dungeon Lootr’s public life started louder than its player count. ClickBytes opened testing after a first trailer in early April 2026. Creators recorded beginner runs when the lobby had a few dozen people. Those videos are still useful for HUD literacy and terrible as a tier list. This page is the archive so you know which memories to keep.
The experience itself was created on 31 January 2026. Open beta is the April–summer window. Global release is the August ruleset you should actually play.
What beta got right
The loop was already the loop: spin a class, clear zones, extract, Forge. Bandit’s Den, the glowing chest beam, cauldrons, and the Guide NPC existed. Starter Compensation and the Tidemaker Katana already front-loaded a Celestial weapon. Boss Rush and Challenge Dungeon were already named in the place description. If you learned parry in April, that skill still works. Read how to play for the HUD that did not get deleted.
The first trailer (embedded on the home page) is still the best look at the combat ClickBytes wanted. Beginner captures from that month still show Menu → More → Codes, which is why the redeem guide has not changed its button path.
What beta videos get wrong now
- Class count. Early copy said 20+ unique classes. The global table is 29, plus Exotic.
- Rarity table. 70% Rare / 8% Legendary is the old column.
- God-tier names. Cursed King as untouchable God is outdated. Honored One as mid A-tier is outdated.
- Codes. BOSSRUSH, MOREEXP, 1KLIKES, ARCHON, BETTERQOL, LEVEL_30–50, EASTER, GROUP, RELEASE were the beta diet. They are on the expired table. FULLRELEASE is the new era.
- Kage / Homura / Frame Breaker. Showcase ratings from admin or event kits. Not your spin pool. See the class directory.
- Founder pack as mandatory. It was a 7,500 Robux A-tier shop class then and now. Skip it unless you want the bundle.
If a thumbnail says “this game only has 35 players,” it is a time capsule, not a review of the live 1.9M-visit place.
Codes and compensation culture
Beta trained players to expect a code every like milestone. That habit is still correct. The strings are not. Join ClickBytes, redeem the live list, ignore the muscle memory of EASTER bunny ears. Level-gated codes felt permanent because they looked like account rewards. Roundups now mark them inactive. If one still pays on a dusty account, take it and do not add it to a daily routine.
Gear balancing was the stated beta phase. Expect nerfs and buffs was the warning in the place description. Global release did not cancel that warning. It just moved the names.
What to do if you are returning from beta
- Redeem the August codes, not the ones in your screenshots.
- Check whether your main is still on the 29-class table and where it sits after the Honored One promotion.
- If you parked on Cursed King, you still have an S-tier. You do not have a reason to skip Boss Rush.
- If you parked on Ronin because “I’ll wait for full release,” you waited. Go spin. Getting Started is the page for that account.
- Recheck Lucky Spin odds before you drink leftover potions.
The updates hub is the parent of this archive. Use this page to decode old advice. Use global release to decide tonight’s farm. Then extract — nostalgia does not hold Infernal Ore.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, classes, Boss Rush, and forging.
Is the April beginner video still accurate?
For HUD, extract, and the Codes button path, yes. For class ranks and live codes, no.
When was open beta?
Public testing ramped in April 2026 after the first trailer. The experience itself dates to 31 January 2026.
Did beta progress wipe?
Open-beta messaging said not to expect a data reset after that phase. Treat old gear as valid and old ranks as not.
Why do old codes still appear on some sites?
They copied the beta list. Cross-check the codes hub. If a string is on the expired table, skip it.
